President Herbert Hoover and Vice President Charles Curtis were renominated on the first ballot in 1932. There were no rowdy parades, disruptive demonstrations, or applause in the convention hall in Chicago.
Went from a 444-87 victory over Alfred Smith to a 472-59 loss to FDR due to a horrible presidency
